The timing of snowfall and normal travel hours have been in conflict. Trying to save us money, our snow removal folks have opted to wait until snowfall is done. Today, that meant many residents came home to snowy roads.
We've requested that from now on, snow removal be timed with resident travel expectations so that if it's at all possible, the roads will be cleared by 7:40 am and 5:15 pm.
Intersections will be salted, but all residents need to SLOW DOWN and remember that 4WD doesn't help when ice and speed are involved.
