Ice and Snow - Best to Drive Slow!

Please be careful as you drive, both in the addition and out in the rest of the world.  Ice and snow make driving difficult.  The board is not responsible for the driving skill of fellow residents.  Still Water has some intersections that are prone to accidents.  Slowing down can reduce your chance of making a mistake - or being too close when someone else makes a mistake.

Snow plowing doesn't usually take place until the a snowstorm has ended - unless we anticipate a really big snow.  After snow has been plowed, then salt or ice-melt can be applied to intersections.  If we salt at the beginning of a snowfall, then it is scraped away by the snow plow.

There is no perfect world, so we'll all just have to do the best we can.  If you live near an intersection that is prone to accidents, then you can count on accidents continuing no matter what steps we take.  Try to relax and enjoy the snowfall and know that life goes on in spite of our frustrations.  One day in the not too distant future, we'll all be worried about mowing, planting, and too much or too little rainfall.
